Screen Printing

Our screen printing is some of the best in the business.

Hype 5/Sport Sales has been in business for over 40 years. We've been around the block a few times so we know what we're doing. Sure, you can find any cheap printer working on a 1-stage press out of their garage, but their inexperience shows through in the quality of their work. You might even find an industry shop so you can get good pricing, but you're looking at high minimum order volumes (typically in the 500 to 1,000 shirt-range).

This is where we come in. Whether you need 12 shirts or 10,000 shirts, Hype 5/Sport Sales goes beyond the call of duty to bring you the highest quality product(s) at the lowest price possible. We don't have 30+ employees running around our shop acting like they're busy and have a million things to do. Instead, we have a small team armed with the best technology which keeps our overhead low. With a small team and low expenses, this model ensures your order gets extra attention to detail - producing a higher-quality product, better customer service, and a significant savings passed on to you.

And if you're not completely satisfied, we will print it until it's right.

It's All In The Ink

The traditional and most popular style of printing. Inks are laid on top of the shirt and cured. Plastisol has a very long washing lifespan that will usually outlive the life of the shirt. Colors are more vibrant and can be printed on any garment or fabric. Plastisol is the most cost-effective choice and most durable.

Works best for white and light colored shirts. The inks are dyed into the fabric which give the shirt a softer feel on the print area. When used on dark fabrics it gives a strong faded and vintage look. The downside on dark shirts when using light ink colors, is the ink colors will be tinted by the shirt color. This has a soft natural shirt feel after the first washing.

This is the process of bleaching the dye out of the fabric, leaving the fabric's natural color showing through. This leaves the shirt feeling as if nothing was printed on it at all. The downside with discharge printing is it only works on 100% cotton. You also need to first wash the shirts before they feel like they weren't printed on, similar to waterbase inks.

Process Printing

If you have a full color design or photograph, this is your choice. Process printing uses a minimum of 4 ink colors similar to plastisol. Because there is more labor and setup involved, direct-to-garment (DTG) printing is a viable alternative for smaller orders.

Ink Colors By The Thousands

We can print in any color your heart desires. In the unlikely possibility we don't have a standard ink color you're looking for, we can mix a custom color just for you. We can also custom-match thousands of Pantone colors. The possibilities are endless.
